Not as much variety of shopping on this single level outdoor outlet mall, but easy to navigate with 2 long, parallel shopping avenues.

Best place to flip some cash

Great selection of shops, but don't bother if it's raining because you need to walk outside between stores. Even on the weekend the wait for parking and food is reasonable.

Great outlets, smaller than Karuizawa but with the same architectural style (kind of European streets). Less high end stores than expected but good restaurant options, parkings lots are a bit far. Went during the week, few customers again compared to Karuizawa in the same conditions.

My 2nd experience here. I'm not entirely sure how to get their via public transport but I assume a train nearby then a bus the rest of the way.It's a nice big outdoor complex that has many different vendors plus a food court and restaurants.There are substantial discounts to be had or found, but be cautious to ask about the discounts at the counter, some stores (nike) my require you to download their app to claim the discount, problem for most non Japanese residents it may be difficult or not possible to access the Japanese app store for the app.The shops are nice and clean with the added bonus of good food eateries, this is most definitely a full day event, and be prepared for a lot of walking.

Quite a long way from the city. Worth a visit. Our favourite guide Mr. tomoo from English taxi is nice enough to give us ample time after our tour for some shopping spree. Lots of shops from bags to shoes to watches and clothes. We were lucky to be visiting during their Golden week holiday as there are additional discounts for some shops aside from the discounted prices.

Plenty of outlet shops, but they're not too cheap in my opinion :/

Shops are usually well-stocked and I like to believe that they don't get swamped as badly as the Gotemba location does. Great shopping in that sense.That said, this place causes traffic jams that extend to outside of the Sano highway entrance/exit ramps.Try to plan your visit around peak hours using google map's peak hours feature to make your visit here stress-free.

Huge space with various international brands items. We cant manage to visit each outlets due to trip schedule. Been there during end of year with a lot of crazy sales. Love to see the outlet building too..kind like english design. Heavy traffic to get into parking area but luckily plenty of parking choices available. We really have a good time here.

Nice place to shop till you drop.. I would do my 1 year's shopping here... nice shoes at good bargain, my record here was set here, 7 pairs of shoes... Some years back though.

Major domestic manufacturers are opening stores. Since Saturdays and Sundays are crowded, we recommend that you go early.

Went on the weekend very crowded, some high end and common brand. Would recommend other outlet near tokyo instead of this one

Had a great time shopping and dining at Sano Outlets

Layout pretty much sucks, and everything is too expensive. Please add some famous stores to it, like American eagle, ZARA, Bershka, and etc... but there’s too much Japanese sh*tty stores for women who are afraid to show their bodies, and most of the stores sell stuff that fully covers it
